DNR 044: Nubiferous - IKVABE

IKVABE by Nubiferous is a conceptual full-length album based upon archaic forest cults with the strong and catchy atmosphere: take random 10 seconds and it will be enough to sink into its mood. The album was recorded in 2016 but some edits were made especially for this release in 2019. The edition also includes 2 bonus tracks, thus the CD contains more than 70 minutes of music by the one of the leading Russian Ritual/Tribal Ambient projects. Comes in 4 panel digipak.

IKVABE от Nubiferous - это концептуальный полноформатный альбом, инспирированный архаичными лесными культами, с сильной запоминающейся атмосферой: возьмите случайные 10 секунд, и этого будет достаточно, чтобы с головой погрузиться в его настроение. Альбом был записан в 2016 году, но некоторые изменения были сделаны специально для этого релиза в 2019 году. Издание также включает в себя 2 бонус-трека, таким образом компакт-диск содержит более 70 минут музыки из одного из ведущих российских проектов в жанре Ritual/Tribal Ambient. Упакован в 4-панельный digipak.

DNR 040: Silent Kingdom - Where Secrets Meet

“Where Secrets Meet” is another masterpiece by Silent Kingdom, one of the leading metal acts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans. Though the album is completely acoustic and contains music in Art / Progressive Rock style you will recognize the band’s unique musicianship: long sensual instrumental parts and original Balkan melodies remain a distinctive feature of their sound even if it is an experiment in a different genre. The songs are performed both in English and Southern Slavic languages (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian). The professional sounding male and female vocals and the brilliant keyboard work (from piano to hammond) fit this music perfectly in addition to the amazing guitars and the rhythm section.

Mighty Morean (Dark Fortress, Alkaloid, Noneuclid, etc.) took part in the recording as a lead guitarist.

Не смотря на то, что альбом целиком и полностью акустический и содержит материал в стиле Art / Progressive Rock, вы, несомненно, узнаете характерный "почерк" Silent Kingdom: продолжительные чувственные инструментальные части и самобытные Балканские мелодии. Тексты песен написаны как на английском, так и на южнославянских языках (Боснийский, Хорватский, Сербский). Профессионально поставленные мужской и женский вокалы и потрясающая клавишная работа (от фортепианного звука до хаммонда) прекрасно сочетаются с музыкой в дополнении к превосходным гитарам и ритм-секции.

Талантливый музыкант и композитор Morean, известный по Dark Fortress, Alkaloid, Noneuclid и другим проектам, принял участие в записи альбома в качестве соло-гитариста.

DNR 036: Depression — Crucifixion of Gods / Wreath of Sorrow

A re-issue of 2 demo recordings by Depression, the one of the first Death Doom Metal bands from the Northern Caucasus. Gloomy, viscous and cold music – a prime example of mid 90ies Doom Death Metal.

Everything about “Crucifixion of Gods / Wreath of Sorrow” follows all the best genre traditions and foundations, even though it can’t be said that the band is a mere copy of the genre’s grandest. On the contrary, the music is original and boasts an unique atmosphere, sure to be enjoyed by fans of early Paradise Lost, Anathema, My Dying Bride and others.

Переиздание 2-х демо записей Depression, Кисловодской Death Doom Metal формации, стоявшей у истоков жанра на Северном Кавказе.

Мрачная, тягучая, холодная музыка, представляющая собой яркий образчик Death Doom Metal середины 90-х. На "Распятье Богов / Венок Печали" все выполнено в лучших традициях и согласно всем канонам стиля, однако сказать, что группа является копией кого-то из плеяды нельзя. Музыка оригинальна и имеет свою уникальную атмосферу. Однозначная рекомендация всем фэнам ранних Paradise Lost, Anathema, My Dying Bride и т.д.
